What is BingwaOne?
BingwaOne is a set of selling tools for Safaricom Bingwa Sokoni agents in Kenya: offer posters, your own bundle store, a WhatsApp bot that takes orders, and SMS to your customers, all paid with M-Pesa. It does not sell bundles itself.
What is Bingwa Sokoni?
Bingwa Sokoni is a Safaricom service that lets approved till holders sell selected data, SMS and minutes offers to customers. Safaricom pays agents a 10% commission on successful sales, weekly on Wednesday.
How do I become a Bingwa Sokoni agent?
Get an M-Pesa till first. A personal till is free and usually approved the same or next day; a business till costs KES 950 on eCitizen and takes 1 to 2 weeks. Then Safaricom has to whitelist that till for Bingwa Sokoni. Once it is active, customers pay your till, Safaricom delivers the offer, and you earn 10% commission, paid to your M-Pesa every Wednesday. Our guide at bingwaone.co.ke/join covers each step.
How much does a Bingwa Sokoni agent earn?
Safaricom pays 10% of every successful sale. A KES 100 offer earns you KES 10. For example, 30 sales of KES 50 a day earn KES 150 a day, about KES 4,500 a month. There is no fixed income: it depends on how many customers you reach.
How much does it cost to start?
A personal M-Pesa till is free, and a BingwaOne account is free. A business till costs KES 950 on eCitizen. Our join guide and the whitelisting request are optional paid help; you can also apply to Safaricom yourself. Current prices are on bingwaone.co.ke/pricing.
Does BingwaOne register new Bingwa Sokoni agents?
No. Safaricom approves Bingwa Sokoni agents. BingwaOne sells tools to agents, and its join guide at bingwaone.co.ke/join explains each step, including the till and the whitelisting request. You can apply yourself, or pay us to send the whitelisting request for you.
